Nonna’s Dumplings owner Yu Yu said
“We make them every morning and our ingredients are all natural,” she said.
“It’s pretty simple, they are natural, simple and fresh.”
Ms Yu said dumplings were a popular option because of their convenience in the middle of a busy working day.
“Dumplings are really quick, you can come and buy them and they only take five minutes and away you go,” she said.
“They are easy to eat and makes for an easy lunch.”
Hospitality NT Chief executive Alex Bruce said Darwin had a great level of multicultural food choices and enough demand to make healthy competition within the industry.
“Darwin’s vibrant food scene is going from strength to strength fuelled by our great local multicultural community,” he said.
“Nonna’s has thrown down the gauntlet, venues will lift to the challenge and locals get to enjoy great dumplings.
