Ms Reynolds had owned the resort for several years before selling it last month.
It is unclear who the new owners are, but Ms Reynolds specified it was “not the Chinese” because of “a promise she made to the Northern Territory people.”
This is despite a supposed “$120 billion offer.”
Ms Reynolds said she chose to sell it because of the “communist behaving (NT) government and the communist City of Darwin.”
In a Facebook post, the new owners of the resort said they are hoping to reopen “the kitchen, bar and 20 lakefront rooms” in mid February.
