A young man will spend up to the next four months behind bars on remand after a terrifying overnight assault at Gulfview Heights which left three different victims with stab wounds.

Isaac Omamogho, 20, appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Friday charged with a number of aggravated offences after his arrest on Thursday following investigations by Operation Meld and Northern District CIB detectives.

A duty solicitor, for Mr Omamogho, made no application for bail – and did not enter any pleas to aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated cause serious harm with intent, aggravated recklessly cause harm and aggravated assault.

Emergency services were called to Nelson Rd in Gulfview Heights after being alerted to the incident about 3.45am.

Prosecutors alleged Mr Omamogho, and his 16-year-old co-accused, forced entry into the home and injured two occupants – after which they escaped arrest by jumping into a vehicle and turning onto Yulinda Terrace.

A 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds. A third person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after being assaulted.

On Wednesday, the partner of a man injured in the violent home invasion revealed the chilling details of the ordeal suspected to be a targeted gang attack.

“We were woken up by some sort of shuddering kind of noise,” she said.

“My partner ran (upstairs) and by the time I went up there he was trying to stop the attacker.

“I went up there and just saw blood everywhere.”

Mr Omamogho will return to court next month to face a breach of bail charge, before appearing in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in January.
