Veteran Adelaide Crows defender Brodie Smith has tied the knot to fiancee Lisa McCarthy ten months after the couple shared their engagement post.
In a post shared to social media on Saturday morning, Smith shared the first official shot from the pair’s wedding, with the caption “Mr & Mrs Smith”.
The bride shared a post on Instagram on Friday morning, captioned “the morning of”, which showed her sitting on an outdoor bathtub reading a copy of The Wedding Post – the lead story reading “The wedding of the year – Lisa and Brodie are getting married”.
The pair were married at Cobb’s Hill Estate in Oakbank.
Among the first comments wishing them well was SA’s own Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
“BRILLIANT!” he wrote. “Congrats guys.”
Tex Walker’s wife Ellie and influencer Eden Harper also commented sharing the love.
The ceremony comes 10 months after the pair announced their engagement on Instagram, with Ms McCarthy sharing a beachside shot of her impressive rock.
“You bring me endless happiness, joy, care, empathy and love,” she wrote.
“I will forever be yours.”
