A host of AFL superstars have been captured letting their hair down as Adelaide Crows’ captain married his childhood sweetheart.
Jordan Dawson and long-term girlfriend Milly Dutton - looking stunning in bridal designs by Adelaide couture house GretaKate - wed on Wednesday, January 3 at Kingsford The Barossa.
Dawson, who famously assumed the Crows’ captaincy from Sydney, was flanked by star Crows and Swans players as they partied into the night.
Video shows Crows stars Rory Sloane and Brodie Smith partying with Sydney’s Luke Parker, Callum Mills and Sam Reid with smiles all-round.
Spirits were high as players danced, sung and the newly-married Crows star was chaired on the shoulders of his captaincy predecessor Sloane, while Milly was hoisted in the air by Parker.
Dawson and new wife Milly were seen recreating the famous scene from the movie Dirty Dancing, with the star footballer pulling off the speccy dance move.
Other Crows stars in attendance included Taylor Walker, Darcy Fogarty, Ben Keays, Rielly O’Brien, Lachlan Murphy, Mitch Hinge and Ned McHenry.
Dawson’s former Sydney teammates present included now Collingwood premiership ruckman Darcy Cameron, as well as current and former Swans Harry Cunningham, Zak Jones, James Bell, Colin O’Riordan and Matt Ling.
Dawson proposed late in 2022 and popped the question to Milly under a tall Willow Tree in front of her grandmother’s home in England.
The duo, from the state’s South-East, shared their first kiss on a Robe footy oval and have said they haven’t gone a day without speaking to each other since meeting in Year 7.
