Luke Willcockson, 37, charged with Kendall murder, Michael Hatzigeorgiou, 39, Ashley Shields, 27, charged with concealing

Police have now charged four people after a man was shot to death out the front of a Mid-North Coast home. Here’s what we know.

A fourth person has been charged in relation to the shooting death of a man outside a Mid-North Coast home.

Julia Ann Jeffrey was arrested in Murray St, Port Macquarie, about 9.35am on Monday.

The 53-year-old was taken to Port Macquarie Police Station, where she was charged with hinder investigation serious indictable offence and conceal serious indictable offence.

The woman was refused bail to appear before Port Macquarie Local Court on Tuesday where she was granted conditional bail to appear at the same court on Wednesday, December 13.

Police have already charged three people in relation to the incident.

Emergency services were called to Batar Creek Rd at Kendall about 6.40pm last Wednesday.

The 43-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds died before he could be taken to hospital, despite the efforts of paramedics and members of the public, who started CPR before help arrived.

He is named in court documents as Paul Davy.

A group of men were seen to drive off after the shooting, according to police.

Mid-North Coast Police District set up a crime scene and detectives launched an investigation under Strike Force Holmesleigh, with the aid of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.

On Saturday, investigators arrested Michael Nicholas Hatzigeorgiou, 39, after a vehicle stop on the Pacific Highway, Nabiac about 4.10pm.

He was taken to Taree Police Station and charged with accessory after the fact to murder, concealing a serious indictable offence and disqualified driving.

The Coolongolook man was refused bail to face Port Macquarie Local Court on Monday.

Two more people also faced the court on Monday.

Police state detectives arrested 37-year-old man Luke Willcockson and 27-year-old woman Ashley Louise Shields at a home in North Haven about 1.30pm on Sunday.

They were taken to Port Macquarie Police Station and Willcockson was charged with murder.

Shields was charged with concealing a serious indictable offence.

Investigations under Strike Force Holmesleigh were ongoing on Monday morning.
