Dylan White, 33, has been sentenced at Lismore District Court after the terrifying Casino Golf Club raid – years after the offending on the evening of November 12, 2017.

Frederick Byrne has also been sentenced - and jailed - while accused Elwyn Roberts has pleaded not guilty and is set to fight allegations at trial.

Workers were closing up when they were confronted by crooks dressed in dark clothing.

They suffered injuries during the raid, which resulted in some cash being snatched. One of two male workers was struck with a machete, while they were both forced to the ground and kicked, according to police.

But the offenders noticed a security guard outside and fled.

Shortly after the 2017 robbery, Richmond Police said the raid involved a group wielding crowbars and the machete.

About a year later, after a crime scene was set up and police called out for information, officers released CCTV footage of a white sedan linked to the robbery.

Judge Jonathon Priestley sentenced White to a two year and eight month long intensive correction order. He was not sent to prison to serve actual time. A conviction was also recorded.
