Elderslie resident Keith Smith has led a life of service to his community, including collecting more than 23,000 pairs of spectacles for people in need around the world.

Rachel Allworth has helped over 300 people get fit by running a volunteer running group every Saturday for locals. She has been nominated for our Pride of Australia award.

Andrew plunges in to save lives

SES volunteer Andrew Bennett had not even reached headquarters when the first call for help came through on June 5, and his day didn’t slow down with three other major rescues that day.
