The armed robber then led police on a high-speed chase throughout the area.

Tweed/Byron Police officers were called to the service station on Tweed Valley Way at Murwillumbah, about 30km south of Tweed Heads, just before 3pm.

The service station, known as Allan’s Seafood, was closed and a swarm of police were on hand in the afternoon.
