Jessica Fallon, Jyle Deem, Lukas Cahill charged with kidnapping Ashley Small
A trio who police say have links to the Loyal Crims gang are alleged to have kidnapped and robbed a person in Byron Bay before assaulting their victim using a tomahawk.

Three alleged members of the Loyal Crims have been charged after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a person in Byron Bay before stealing bank cards, cash and clothing from them.
Jessica Honey Fallon, 27, Jyle Charles Deem, 29 and Lukas Mark Cahill, 32, each face charges of armed robbery causing grievous bodily harm and kidnap in company with intent to occasion actual bodily harm.
It’s alleged the group robbed Ashley Small of two bank cards, clothing, a Samsung galaxy mobile and $1300 cash between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on August 25 last year.
They were allegedly armed with a tomahawk which police say was used to wound their victim.
Police allege the trio are part of a criminal gang called the Loyal Crims.
Ms Fallon, from the Sydney suburb of Miller, faces further charges of knowingly or recklessly directing a criminal group, stealing a motor vehicle and taking and driving conveyance without the consent of the owner.
Police allege Ms Fallon stole a Toyota Prado from Skinners Shoot on August 31, 2021 between 1.45pm and 3.15pm before taking a Ford Ranger sometime after 8pm the same day from Lennox Head.
Mr Cahill, from Tweed Heads, has been charged with negligent driving, failing to provide particulars, stealing a motor vehicle, taking and driving conveyance without the consent of the owner, police pursuit, driving dangerously, larceny and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime.
It is alleged Mr Cahill was in a crash due to negligent driving on Brunswick Valley Way at Ocean Shores where he allegedly failed to give his particulars to another person shortly after 10am on September 17, 2021.
It’s further alleged the same day he stole a Mazda BT-50 from Ocean Shores and drove it without permission from the owner.
The same day police allege Cahill was in a police pursuit in the stolen Mazda in North Tumbulgum between 11.09am and 11.11am on Tweed Valley Way.
It’s further alleged Mr Cahill stole a leather wallet from the car owner worth $50 and did deal with $2200 cash, reckless to where it was proceeds of crime.
Banora Point man Mr Deem faces further charges of stealing a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, take and drive conveyance without consent of the owner and assault a person intended as criminal activity of criminal group.
Police allege Mr Deem took and drove Mazda 2 from Kingscliff between August 17 and August 31, additionally allegedly stole a Volkswagen Transporter between 2.30am and 3.30am and on August 31 and drove while disqualified on Gollan Drive in Tweed Heads West.
The three cases were mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on Friday where none of the defendants were required to appear.
Each matter was adjourned to March 18 where charges are expected to be certified.
All three remain in custody on remand.
