Part of the approval includes the construction of a roundabout between Sunshine Avenue and Dry Dock Road.

Mr Marquart said increased housing development on Dry Dock Road had led to an increase of traffic in the area.

“(The roundabout is) a win-win and allows better access for all,” Mr Marquart said.

The development is funded by a combination of $550,000 in funding from the Australian Government’s Capital Grants program, for the Kindergarten, and school funds.

Mr Marquart said the project was shovel ready and will now go to tender with plans to start building in September and be ready in June 2022.
