Chinderah crash: Emergency services called to Pacific Highway

Emergency services have been called to a two-car crash on the Pacific Highway as heavy rain pounds sections of the North Coast.

Two people are being assessed at the scene of a crash on the Pacific Highway near Chinderah.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said two road crews were at the scene.

They were called to the incident in southbound lanes of the highway, just south of the Chinderah on-ramp, shortly after 2pm.

The spokeswoman said two cars were involved and it is understood no people have been trapped.
