Raptor cops bust bikie with weapons, drugs and 2-metre python
A member of the Comanchero bikie gang will face court today charged after weapons, drugs, a stolen ute and a two-metre coastal carpet python was seized from a home in the Lake Macquarie region.

A member of the Comanchero bikie gang will face court today charged after weapons, drugs, and a two-metre python was seized from a home in the Lake Macquarie region.
Police searched a home on Pirama Road, Wyee, about 7.30am yesterday and found slingshots, bladed walking canes, flails, an electronic stun device, 1.6kg of cannabis leaf, 28 cannabis plants, methylamphetamine, cash, a Mitsubishi Triton utility believed to have been stolen, ammunition, and a coastal carpet python.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the property and taken to Toronto Police Station, where he was charged with 23 offences.
The man, who is a member of the Comancheros, was refused bail to appear before Newcastle Local Court today.
