A woman is being treated for fractures after a head-on crash near Lismore
Major traffic diversions were in place after the incident saw the Bruxner Highway closed in both directions.

Police are investigating after a woman was injured when a car and motorhome collided on the Bruxner Highway near Lismore on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Lindendale about 12.30pm.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said four road ambulance crews initially responded to the scene and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was also tasked to the incident.
She said a woman in her 50s had since been transported to Lismore Base Hospital.
Police said in a statement the Lismore Police Rescue Squad was among the attending emergency services.
“The driver of the car, travelling eastbound on the Bruxner Highway, Alphadale, crossed to the incorrect side of the road colliding with the motor home,” they said.
“Thankfully no persons in either vehicle were trapped or suffered serious injuries.
“The accident is currently being investigated by Lismore police.”
The injured woman was in a stable condition but suffered some fractures to her arms and legs, the NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said.
It is understood that woman was initially trapped in her vehicle by confinement.
No other people have been taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
Diversions have remained in place for much of the afternoon, with the Bruxner Highway closed in both directions at the scene.
Most traffic was being diverted down Cowlong Road (eastbound) at McLeans Ridges and Sneaths Road (westbound) at Wollongbar.
The ambulance spokeswoman said two people were initially trapped in one of the vehicles.
It is understood NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers also attended the scene along with police.
