MOST of Lismore City Council's sporting ovals remain closed as the effects of the recent wet weather continue to be felt.
The council was forced to close its playing fields due to last week's deluges, which left turfs unusable.
The only oval available is Blazer Park, which is open at the hirer's discretion.
Another update will be provided about midday on Wednesday.
Several other playing fields across the region remain either closed and/or waterlogged.
Users are advised to check with local councils.
