A much-loved cafe and fast-food joint in the heart of Byron could soon be yours after the owner listed the business for a speedy sale.
Mr Gorillah Toastie and Coffee Bar has been serving Northern Rivers residents for about six months but owner Darren Sharman has decided it’s time to focus on other dreams.
Mr Sharman listed the business for sale in a public Facebook post this week, stating it was “priced to sell for quick sale”.
“The owner has built the business and branding with a long-term goal but unfortunately has decided to sell with a new addition to the family coming later in the year and needing capital for other business ventures which has changed the family’s direction and plans for the future,” the ad read.
“This is a perfect opportunity for an astute operator looking to enter the market of business ownership at a very viable and affordable price point.”
Mr Sharman priced sale for $25,000 and noted the prospective buyer could take over the existing business or bring in their own business or idea.
“The hard work is already done for you with fit out and equipment in place,” the ad read.
Mr Gorillah started as a food truck operation but soon upgraded to its 3a/1 Byron St premises by former Gold Coast resident Mr Sharman.
Open 7 days a week, the store is known for its unique toastie combinations.
