Trinity Catholic College Lismore’s Year 12 formal

145 students graduated from Trinity Catholic College in the class of 2021. Check out the school’s award-winners and formal photos.

Lismore’s Trinity Catholic College principal Brother John Hilet said the school was proud of the efforts and resilience displayed by the 2021 HSC cohort.

“The past two years have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused disruption in many aspects of school life,” he said.

Year 12 students at Trinity experienced six weeks of online learning in 2021 alone while the final internal HSC assessments were completed online at home in Term 3.

“HSC students and families navigated these challenges remarkably well,” Br John said.

Students also experienced a number of changes to their HSC timetable, which resulted in the full suite of exams being pushed back to November 9.

The Graduation Liturgy, Prize Giving and Farewell Assembly was held in the Trinity Sport Centre on Friday, December 3.

Students were presented with their graduation cross and those who placed first in an HSC course were acknowledged for their excellent results.

Commendation, community service, sporting and leadership awards were also presented.

The graduation dinner was held one week later on December 10.

This year’s theme was ‘A Golden Moment in Time’ which acknowledges the elation all students, families and staff feel on the occasion of Year 12s’ graduation from the college.

All 145 students received their graduation portfolios from Br John, before the major college award recipients were announced.
