A warrant was issued and police allegedly located O’Toole about 5.45pm on December 6, travelling south on the M1 Motorway at Tweed Heads in a four-wheel drive.

A pursuit was initiated when police failed to stop the vehicle however was terminated due to safety concerns.

Soon after, the four wheel drive exited the motorway at Minjungbal Drive, Banora Point and allegedly collided with a stationary sedan stopped at traffic lights.
