A former Home And Away star and three of his co-accused have faced Lismore Court regarding serious drug charges.
Former teen actor Putu Sugiarta Winchester-Stanton, who appeared as a teen on Home And Away and Heartbreak High, remains in rehab while his co-accused, Bodene Robertson, 32, and Clayton Macdonald, 44, remain in custody on a range of cocaine supply charges.
Alyse Rose Cameron, 34, is on bail but was excused from appearing in court when her matters were also mentioned.
They were among a group arrested over the alleged supply of cocaine in a string of raids across the Byron Shire in April this year.
Police will allege they seized about 340g of cocaine and more than $25,000 in cash after conducting four raids in the Byron Bay, Mullumbimby and Bangalow areas.
Police will allege the accused were all involved in the offending “for the common purpose of supplying a prohibited drug for financial gain” and that Ms Cameron “was an active participant in her role within this criminal group”.
Solicitor John Weller, who was representing Mr Winchester-Stanton, Mr Robertson and Mr Macdonald, on Wednesday said he had engaged in earlier discussions with prosecutors regarding the case.
He asked for an adjournment of four weeks, much to Magistrate Michael Dakin’s ire.
“I thought this was to0 good to be true to have this matter before the court committed,” he told Mr Weller.
Ms Cameron’s solicitor Annabel Wurth also asked for the adjournment.
Mr Winchester-Stanton, 44, is facing a large number of charges, including knowingly directing a criminal group, various cocaine supply charges and drug possession.
Mr Mcdonald and Mr Robertson are facing related cocaine supply charges.
Ms Cameron has previously pleaded not guilty to taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group activity.
Their matters are next due for mention on October 27.
