A woman has been charged with the brutal bashing of a Casino mother in a club toilet a month before the victim tragically died.

A woman has been charged with the brutal bashing of a Casino mother in a toilet a month before she tragically died.
Candice Drew, 21, of Casino faced Lismore Local Court on Saturday charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others and breaching an apprehended violence order.
Drew has not been charged in relation to the death of Jamikka Olive, 28, also known as Jamikka Binge.
Police allege Drew assaulted Ms Olive at the Casino RSM Club on June 23 while in the company of two others.
Ms Olive attended the club to support a fundraiser for the Bundjalung Baygals football team.
Police allege Drew cornered Ms Olive in the toilets sometime between 10pm and 12am.
It’s alleged Ms Olive tried to leave but Drew dragged her back into the toilet by the hair and beat her.
Ms Olive was hospitalised following the alleged attack.
Police took out an apprehended violence order (AVO) for the protection of Ms Olive.
Ms Drew allegedly breached that AVO at Casino about 12.30pm on Friday, July 28 and was arrested shortly after.
On the day, Ms Olive suffered a seizure and was rushed to Casino hospital by her mother and father, but tragically died.
A NSW police spokesman said the Coroner would work to determine the cause of Ms Olive’s death.
Drew was granted bail on Saturday to live in Coffs Harbour and her case was adjourned to September at Casino Local Court.
