Lismore City Council is expected to discuss the issue at its meeting tonight.

The recommendation from council staff is they extend the timeframe to see what impact local government reform will have on regional libraries.

Lismore, Ballina, Byron and Tweed councils have agreed to develop a partnership business model and a formal partnership agreement for the Richmond-Tweed Regional Library.
