Most Lismore ovals open but a few still closed from long wet

A HANDFUL of Lismore City Council’s sporting ovals remain closed as the effects of recent bad weather continue to be felt.

Albert Park 2, Heaps and Blair ovals and Neilson Park E1 and E2 junior and senior soccer fields are still unfit for use.

Council will provide another update on Friday afternoon.

Thanks to the recent drier weather, all other council-owned ovals are now open at the hirer's discretion.

Other ovals across the region still remain affected by the recent deluges.

Users are advised to double-check arrangements with local councils.
