With the countdown to Christmas quickly ticking down, these are the Northern Rivers displays you just can’t miss. See our interactive map and gallery inside.

The festive spirit is well and truly alive in the Northern Rivers this year with dozens of stunning Christmas light displays set up across the region.

From the annual favourites on Trinity Dr, Goonellabah to the new kids on the block, there’s dozens of Lismore and Ballina residents going above and beyond to deck out their homes with vibrant and showstopping displays.

Shiralee and David Perin of Trinity Drive in Goonellabah have been decorating their house and yard for many years.

“Trinity Drive used to have heaps of houses set up Christmas lights but since they stopped the charity here there are fewer people doing it,” Mrs Perin said.

She made the reindeers, nativity scene and many other ornaments that light up their house by hand.

“We’ve been doing this for around 20-odd years,” Mr Perin said.

“And probably for 20 more yet,” he said.
