Covid-19 is again playing havoc on Northern Rivers events, with some due to be held in coming days and weeks cancelled due to possible Covid exposure in the region.
Lismore Base Hospital construction site was listed as a possible exposure site on Wednesday night, and a confirmed Covid-19 case visited a Chinderah Service station last week.
Here is a list of planned events that have been cancelled so far.

Cheeky at Norpa
Norpa has announced the postponement of Cheeky, scheduled for this weekend at Lismore City Hall.
They said the extension of the Sydney lockdown, border closures and border uncertainty made it difficult for the performing artists to travel to NSW.
“We’re working with Brett and Chris from Brunswick Picture House to lock in dates for the rescheduled performances. Please hang on to your tickets. We’ll be in touch with new dates soon.
“Thank you for your support and for sticking with us as we all continue to navigate the impacts and uncertainty of the pandemic.”

Battle on the Border
Organisers of the cycling race Battle on the Border have announced the “ongoing Covid-19 impacts throughout New South Wales” have led to the decision to postpone the event.
The event was scheduled for August 6 to 8.
Organisers have said on social media they were working with local and state authorities to lock in a new date before Christmas.
