An outfit so bad you have hidden it at the back of the cupboard, never to see the light of day again.
Maybe it's an old bridesmaid's dress with giant bows and puffy sleeves, or maybe it's a brightly-coloured suit from the 1970s with flared pants.
Well, now is the time to dust it off. The Bad Taste Bridal Ball is on in Ballina on July 17.
And it's all for a good cause.
Eight-year-old Talaya Close, of Ballina, will soon have an operation to remove a tumour in the middle of her brain.
Thanks to the hard work of family friends Helen Hanslow, Cathy Puglisi and other volunteers, the Help Talaya Appeal has already raised $60,000.
That has allowed Talaya's family to put a deposit on the operation with renowned surgeon Dr Charlie Teo.
Now they need just a bit more to cover the rehabilitation and recovery costs.
The Bad Taste Bridal Ball will be held at the Ballina RSL Club.
“The RSL has been a great supporter for the appeal and chef Gerhard Spatz has made a special three-course meal for the event. It will be delicious,” Ms Hanslow said.
“There are prizes for most outstanding suit and dress and for best-decorated table.
“People can dress up, dress down, they can dress anyway they want to.
“Anything goes, as long as they come to have some fun.
“This is about letting our hair down now that wehave raised most of themoney.”
Local businesses have also helped out by donating items for a raffle, including a signed Wests Tigers guernsey, wine, sporting memorabilia, fishing gear, jewellery, dinner sets and much more.

Heart of Dance, a dance troupe from Lennox Head, will provide the entertainment during dinner and Disco Static will get people on the dance floor afterwards.
