The primary aim of this position is providing excellence in customer service for Lismore City Council. As a Trainee Customer Service Officer, you will be providing information in response to general customer enquiries and information relating to Council's assets and services. This involves primarily phone enquiries but some face to face communication may also be required.
The Traineeship is a full-time position for one (1) year to undertake Certificate II (2) in Business Administration, combined with on the job training.

The Trainee Ranger is a key staff member of the Council's Law Enforcement Team. The primary aim of this position is providing excellence in law enforcement service for Lismore City Council.
As a Trainee Ranger, you will be providing information in response to, enquires from the public regarding Local Government Law Enforcement issues, such as dog attacks, neighbourhood disputes, illegal parking, littering, and other Local Law Enforcement issues.
The Traineeship is a full-time position for two (2) years to undertake Certificate IV (4) in Local Government (Regulatory Services) combined with on the job training. A high level of literacy and numeracy will be required to complete this qualification.
WHS Officer
Full-time: 70 hours per fortnight
Salary: $1,281.70 (Grade 14 Entry) to $1,473.96 per week plus superannuation

Position Details:
This multifaceted position is responsible for assisting with the ongoing development, implementation, review & continuous improvement of Council's Work Health Safety Management System (WHSMS).
It is an expectation that the successful applicant will undertake regular inspections/audits of both fixed and mobile sites across Council for WHS compliance. This will involve both paper-based and electronic auditing of WHS systems.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable team-player who is able to build trust and foster partnerships by working collaboratively with relevant stake holders to promote and participate in the development of a culture of safety & wellbeing across Council.
