Ibrahim girlfriend Sarah Budge gets bail after loaded pistol arrest

THE girlfriend of John Ibrahim refused to answer questions and attempted to hide her face after she was granted bail from custody yesterday.
A visibly downcast Sarah Budge, 27, left the Sydney Police Centre at 4pm, when the model and bar owner was met at the police station’s door by a man, believed to be her brother Jack Budge.
The Double Bay woman refused to answer questions from the media about the loaded Glock gun found in her possession and how she handled her night in custody.
Budge had to surrender her passport and post $50,000 surety before she was allowed to leave the police centre.
She was charged with possessing a loaded Glock after her arrest during a series of raids across Sydney on Tuesday.

Budge appeared via video link at Central Local Court and was granted bail after a series of strict bail conditions were imposed — including surrendering her passport.
Magistrate Clare Farnan granted bail, noting it was not opposed by the prosecutor.
“This is clearly a serious allegation but the Commonwealth DPP is not opposing bail … I consider any concerns that might arise are addressed properly by those conditions and accordingly I propose to grant bail,” Ms Farnan said.
The nightclub hostess will have to report to Waverley police station three times a week and is forbidden from travelling out of NSW.
