THE Hayne Plane could have been forgiven for taking flight this morning after a bizarre mix up at a Gold Coast high school. 

The Titans star was at Robina High School to make a presentation about cyber-bullying and online reputation protection.

During the talk his web-browsing history was displayed on a projector in front of the pupils and that's when things got weird. 

Someone accessed the wifi display on the projector and put up an image from Pornhub.com. 

This meant tat in the middle of the talk adult's only content was displayed at the top of the one-time NFL player's history, AAP reports.

"Obviously I shut my phone straight away so I was logged off,'' Hayne told News Corp after images of a sexual nature were displayed on a big screen in front of a packed hall full of students. 

Ironically the presentation was about the dangers of using open networks and Hayne's co-host Nick Savvides from Norton Security admitted the fact someone had used wi-fi to access the presentation was embarrassing.

"We do this demo in many scenarios and we haven't had this type of thing happen before, so it is unfortunate," Savvides said. 

"Connecting to open networks, people can see what you are doing, as well as, in this case, inject unwanted material.''
