IF you go down to Amamoor Creek State Forest this August you're in for the time of your life at the Optus National Music Muster.

The Muster is back for its 29th year and promises to serve up some of Australia's best artists and performers in an Australian bush setting.

The Muster kicks off on Tuesday August 24 and runs through until Sunday August 29, transforming the forest into a mini city, complete with accomodation, entertainment and everything else you need for a good time.

Who is playing?

There's an impressive line-up to suit all tastes at Muster this year. From Spiderbait to The McClymonts, Thirsty Merc, John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Jimmy Barnes and Graeme Connors, there's over 100 acts to choose from.

You can see a full list of Muster acts on our Optus National Music Muster 2010 line-up page.

How do I get there?

If you are coming from the south:

Heading north on the Bruce Highway, take the Traveston Crossing Road exit and follow Traveston Crossing Road. It will become Middleton Road before intersecting with the Mary Valley Highway. Take a left into the Mary Valley Highway and then, almost immediately, a right into Blackgate Road. Turn right from Blackgate Road into Busby Street and head through the middle of Amamoor. Busby Street then becomes Amamoor Creek Road. Follow Amamoor Creek Road until you reach the Muster site.

What accommodation is available?

Both DIY and supplied camping options are available on site at the Muster.

DIY camping costs are included in the one ticket price, though it is only available for the duration of the ticket you have purchased. If you have a season pass however, you can access the camp sites from August 20. The camping grounds are all within easy walking distance of the entertainment area and toilets and hot showers are distributed throughout the site. Camping grounds are also accessible by caravan, bus, motorhome and bus, though a ute and swag will also do just fine.

If you're not set up to camp DIY, don't fret. You also have the option of purchasing an accommodation package ticket. You can choose from Banjo's, Banjo's Gold or the Budget option. Accommodation packages come with entry to the Muster.

Banjo's offers exclusive private tent accommodation with breakfasts and your well-appointed cabin-style tent will be ready for you when you arrive. The tents are fully screened and floored and come with lighting, you only need to bring your linen. There is also plenty of showers and toilets available exclusively for your use.

Banjo's Gold offers the same perks as Banjo's but all linen is supplied and your tent will be serviced, like a motel. All you will need to bring is a towel and a chair.

The Budget camping offers a no-frills service with access to showers and toilets nearby. Camp-style beds with mattresses and  internal lighting are supplied. You will need to bring everything else.

For more information on camping at the Muster and to book your accomodation, visit the Optus National Music Muster accomodation page.
