A Mid-North Coast woman has faced court after allegedly raping a male on three separate occasions
The 35-year-old woman – who cannot be identified to protect the identity of the alleged victim – was initially charged with two counts of having sexual intercourse without consent with the same male.
But after fronting Coffs Harbour Local Court on Tuesday, it was revealed a third charge, in relation to the same alleged victim, had been laid.
The woman sat quietly in the courtroom and was supported by an older woman.
The accused has not entered any pleas in relation to the charges.
The alleged offending took place in Nambucca Heads between April 1 and April 15 last year.
She was charged at Macksville police station in June after an investigation.
She has been granted bail and the matter was adjourned to March 25.
