Russell Crowe has issued a “piece of advice” as he emerges from lockdown but a photographer on the receiving end says he’s done nothing wrong.

After bonding with friendly cockatoos in lockdown Russell Crowe is out and about but some unwanted attention has him firing off tweets.
Crowe was in Sydney working on his latest film Poker Face, when a confirmed case of Covid sent the entire crew into lockdown just six days before filming was set to wrap up.
The Academy Award winner was directing as well as starring in the big budget production based at Sydney’s Fox Studios and also filming around Kiama.
The nature lover wasted no time forming bonds with some friendly sulphur crested cockatoos while in lockdown- similar to the bonds he has with the yellowtail black cockatoos at his Nana Glen property.
He tweeted videos hand feeding his new friends and enjoying quiet times listening to the frogs and insects around his apartment on Sydney Harbour at Barangaroo.

His first message after emerging from lockdown earlier this week was to encourage people to get vaccinated.
“Went in an elevator. Wow. Walked outside. Amazing. Freedom,” he tweeted.
“Not to be preachy at all, but, for your family, your friends, your community, yourself, get vaccinated.”
He has also referenced the 2020 film Unhinged, in relation to a photographer who has been attempting to photograph him since he emerged from lockdown.
“Piece of advice Jayden, I’m old, I’m grumpy, and I own a truck. #unhinged,” read part of his tweet.
But freelance photographer Jayden Seyfarth says he was not following Crowe or doing anything wrong.
“In reference to Unhinged, I don’t watch his movies – not really a fan of his – so wouldn’t know what he was referencing but it looks like he is trying to use my name for promotion for his movie,” Mr Seyfarth said.
It’s been a big 12 months for Crowe, 57, with plans revealed in June this year for his $438 million film studio in Coffs Harbour.
The studio is set to be the first fully integrated feature-film production and post production complex in Australia and will allow actors to stay with their family in Coffs Harbour while filming.
The exciting news came after the tragic loss of his father Alex Crowe in March when the much-loved local passed away after he collapsed during a flight from Sydney to Coffs Harbour.
In June Russell held a memorial service for his father at the chapel on their Nana Glen property.
The chapel has hosted weddings, concerts and meditation sessions and was built in 2003 for Crowe’s marriage to Danielle Spencer.
The Crowe family’s generosity in the region is legendary from supporting local businesses to founding the Nana Glen Heartstart program – even donating $200,000 for a pool at Nana Glen Public School after a drowning tragedy.
