A tight-knit group of Year 12 graduates from Orara High School were joined by emotional family and friends as they wrapped up their year at the formal.
School principal Michelle Elliott said the group enthusiastically embraced opportunities and had forged future pathways for themselves.
“They’ve been very resilient,” Ms Elliott said.
Year adviser Samantha Cornale said it was emotional to say goodbye to a group who had done “an awesome job”.

Having watched them grow and mature since year 8, she said the cohort of about 40 students had displayed character throughout challenging lockdowns.
“They’ve done awesomely,” Ms Cornale said.
The Year 12 Orara cohort raised funds for the Warrina Womens Refuge and were active in the community across the year.
With some students planning to study and others keen to travel the world – the Orara High School Year 12 class of 2022 will certainly achieve great things.
