A charity car show due to take place this month has been cancelled and reinstated within days.
Cardi Gras was due to visit Coffs Harbour on March 29 with one of the premier Cold Chisel tribute acts Chisel Revived in tow.
All profits were being donated to local charity Hope For the Homeless.
However, the organisers decided to cancel the event due to concerns an initial lack of interest risked the organisation being unable to cover costs.
That prompted the venue, Red-C, to partner with Hope for the Homeless and run the event themselves.
Now branded as the Coffs Coast Motor Show, engine enthusiasts from around the region can show off their beloved vehicles.
The action by Red-C Events also means when the cars have been put to shed the party can still go on as Chisel Revived, fronted by Tim Carter, bang out classics by one of the most loved Australian acts of all time.
The Coffs Coast Motor Show runs from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday May 29 at the Red-C on Jordan Esplanade, Coffs Harbour with Chisel Revived kicking off at 7pm.
