A man in his 70s has been found dead after a fire tore through a home near Nimbin at the weekend.

A man believed to be in his 70s has tragically died in a house fire on the North Coast.
Emergency services were called to the fire at a property on Wallace Rd, Terania Creek, near Nimbin, about 8.45pm on Saturday.
NSW Rural Fire Service officers extinguished the blaze and found the man’s body.
He had not been formally identified at the weekend.
Richmond Police District officers set up a crime scene to investigate.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear and specialist police were called in.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
