Corey James Felton charged with Ballina home break-in
A man sought by police has been arrested after officers spotted him driving an allegedly stolen car. He will face court with a string of charges – including breaking into a home.

A man has been arrested at a West Ballina servo after police say they spotted him driving an allegedly stolen car.
Corey James Felton, 27, has not yet entered any pleas after being charged with taking and driving a car without the owner’s consent and driving without a licence.
He has also been charged with having goods suspected of being stolen on a premises, possessing prohibited drugs and possessing or attempting to possess a prescribed restricted substance.
No pleas have been entered for these charges.
Felton had outstanding arrest warrants when police allegedly caught him driving a stolen car on River St, West Ballina about 12.15pm on Sunday.
Richmond Police District officers attached to Operation Mongoose followed the car before arresting Felton at a service station on the Bruxner Highway in West Ballina.
Felton was then taken to Ballina Police Station and charged.
Felton was refused bail to appear before Lismore Bail Court on Sunday April 1, where he was formally refused bail.
He will next face Ballina Local Court on Thursday.
Felton pleaded not guilty at Ballina Local Court last December to breaking and entering a house and stealing items worth less than $60,000, as well as a charge of failing to appear in accordance with his bail.
