Anzac Day serves as an important day of commemoration across Australia, with NSW locals joining in to pay their respects to fallen diggers and surviving veterans who served at war.
But the public holiday marches, commemoration ceremonies and events taking place mean local businesses may change their hours or won’t open at all.
Most fast food outlets, cafes and restaurants are exempt from the trading restrictions on Anzac Day, according to NSW Fair Trading.
