Man, 23 and woman, 40 arrested after allegedly stealing car in Oxenford on the Gold Coast
A man was nabbed after he was found hiding in a home he had allegedly broken into to hide from his pursuers.

A man has been arrested after he was found hiding in a home he had allegedly broken into while on the run from police.
Gold Coast police say they spotted an allegedly stolen Mazda 3 in Oxenford around midnight on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said an officer was approaching the car when the vehicle allegedly sped off.
Officers followed the car before it was dumped on Kopps St and the man and woman who were inside fled the scene on foot.
Police arrested a 40-year-old woman a short time later.
The 23-year-old man allegedly broke into a home on Dakota Pl to try and hide from his pursuers.
Gold Coast officers, including the specialist police units, found the man after a comprehensive search and arrested him on Kansas Court at around 1am on Thursday.
