The bizarre rants of failed comedian charged over Eurydice Dixon memorial graffiti

THE same day thousands gathered at murdered Melbourne woman Eurydice Dixon’s memorial site, 31-year-old anti-vaxxer Andrew Nolch took to social media with a series of rants.

THE same day thousands gathered at murdered Melbourne woman Eurydice Dixon’s memorial site, failed comedian Andrew Nolch took to social media with a rant against making her death a women’s safety issue.

Mr Nolch, the man accused of defacing the makeshift memorial at Princes Park in Carlton North, claimed the conversations were turning into a “battle of the sexes” making men out to be evil.

“The mainstream media is only reporting on murders done by men, which is making people think that all men are crazy scary murderers,” he wrote on June 18.

“It’s like they are making a war of the sexes or something, maybe divide and conquer, but it really does seem like its working and women are angry with men which is ill-founded.

“The mainstream media is running a brainwashing program which is designed to make everyone think that males are bad.

“Any event that comes along they twist the reporting so that average males are made to feel as bad as if they did it.”

The 31-year-old faces a series of charges over the lewd graffiti that was found scrawled on a soccer pitch near where Ms Dixon’s body was found.

Mr Nolch has been bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 10, charged with criminal damage, offensive behaviour and making offensive graffiti.

Ms Dixon, a comedian, was attacked and killed as she walked home from a comedy gig in the CBD on June 12.

RECLAIM PRINCES PARK VIGIL FOR EURYDICE DIXON

Police discovered offensive graffiti painted next to a floral memorial for Ms Dixon early on the morning of June 18, the day the planned vigil was scheduled.

Mr Nolch previously hosted a show on Channel 31 called The Kink, which was cancelled by the station a couple of years ago.

Mr Nolch also operates a number of self-made projects, including a Scientology podcast.

His social-media accounts reveal lengthy posts about conspiracy theories and aliens.

It’s understood Mr Nolch was ostracised by the Melbourne comedy scene over a parody clip that was widely criticised.

After being unmasked as the man allegedly behind the lewd graffiti, he said he was embarrassed and ashamed that the media had called him a comedian, but did not express remorse for his alleged crime.

In a post last night, he said: “I did it because I was upset that vaccines caused the killers autism”.

In an earlier rant, the anti-vaxxer said he did not want to be associated with Melbourne’s comedy community.

“I am so embarrased (sic) that the newspaper reported me as a ‘comedian’,” Mr Nolch said.

“I used to be interested in stand-up comedy for a bit and hosted a funk comedy show on community TV but I had never refered (sic) to myself as a comedian, I am actually ashamed of this reference.

“I do not want to be associated with Melbourne comedians.”

He also protested against claims his TV show on Channel 31 had been cancelled.

“I stopped making it as I discovered that TV is full of corporate and government propaganda,” Mr Nolch said.

“I could no longer be involved with such an evil thing as TV.

“The future is the internet where you can actually hear the truth about vaccines causing autism.”

The Herald Sun has tried to get in touch with Mr Nolch.

Fire crews used water and brooms to remove the offensive graffiti, some 25 metres in size.

Park workers covered the remainder of the site with a white material to hide what was unable to be cleaned away.

Local resident Sue Murray, who has frequented Princes Park for years, said at the time: “It’s just disgraceful. We live in a world of sick people.”

Police believe Ms Dixon, also known as “Ridi”, was followed by her killer after her performance at the Highlander Bar, in the southern CBD.

Jaymes Todd, 19 of Broadmeadows, is charged with her rape and murder.
