Labor dangles huge payrise at childcare staff

New laws to increase the salary of early childhood educators will be introduced to parliament this week with the aim of boosting pay by 10 per cent by Christmas, with another 5 per cent next year.

Preschool fees hand-out in budget

Parents struggling to get their children into preschool will soon be able to access more than $430 million in fee relief, while more than 9000 additional children will have access to preschool, as part of the NSW state budget.
