"As an Aussie I'm horrified" - These are the Bluey episodes censored in America because they're deemed inappropriate.

Bluey has captured the hearts of kids and parents alike around the world.

The Heelers from Brisbane, Australia are beloved for their realistic and cheeky portrayals of parenting and family dynamics - but did you know that the show you watch in the United States isn't identical to the one you'd watch here?

Yep, that's right. Some scenes have been censored or edited on Disney+ in order to comply with US television standards and practices.

That means some jokes or innuendoes have been removed or altered as they're deemed 'inappropriate'. Other times, whole episodes have been scrapped.

"Season three is the most censored season so far"

TikToker and "licensed girl dad and Bluey fan" @world.shaker recently took to his account to share seven changes he's picked up on in Season Three. He says it's the "most censored season so far."

First up, Bandit doesn't get hit in a, ahem, "sensitive spot" in Born Yesterday. They completely cut that scene out.

They also removed Buttermilk pooping at Muffin's birthday party in Pass the Parcel - they did this in Markets too.

A scene from Perfect where Bandit has a conversation about potentially getting a vasectomy was also completely removed and was replaced with a scene about getting 'dog teeth' removed.

"The day labourer from Argentina is now a backpacker in Explorers," the TikToker lists next.

And in Driving, Agatha now threatens to "scratch up the curtains" instead of pee on them.

Aunt Tricks is no longer seen on the toilet in Baby Talks, rather the scene crops in on Muffin's face so she can't be seen in the background.

Finally, they pulled the episode Family Meeting due to the storyline about... farts. Yep, while there were no overt fart jokes in the episode, the whole plot is based around a silent but deadly.

"It's disappointing"

Bluey fans didn't hold back from sharing their thoughts in the comments.

"It’s disappointing how much Disney is going to censor this show, it’s harmless and doesn’t do damage but of course, it’s Disney we are dealing with," one commenter said.

Another wrote: "Of course they ruined it, I have to use a VPN to watch it."

Someone else sarcastically quipped, "Bluey: Gains attention for discussing mature things in a child-friendly way. Disney: 'So what if we removed all that?'"

Then this person joked, "We have to protect the babies from finding out about toilets! 😩Who knows what could happen if we let that technology fall into their hands!!!"

"I get that countries have different censors but I’m pretty sure toddlers see or hear worse than what’s in Bluey. Coming from someone who nannied..." replied a different user.

Then some Aussies jumped in. "They cut Family Meeting? As an Aussie I am horrified, that is such a hilarious episode. 'All I'd had to eat was nut loaf'," one said.

Then someone else concluded: "Only in the USA do they sensor that to children but not guns in schools or kids safety. We build them tough in Australia."
