'My mum edits social media photos of me to look skinnier'

'I am the daughter of a Facetune mum," the young woman says as she shares shocking before and after photos.

My mother edits every photo of me and also uses Facetune.

A woman has taken to TikTok to share shocking before and after photos - not from her losing weight, but from her mum editing her so it would look like she had.

Sabrina began her clip by claiming, "I am the daughter of a Facetune mum."

She then explained that her mum uses the photo-editing app to change every single photo she uploads, including ones with or without her daughter

"She made me skinny"

"My mum edits the crap out of all of her pictures, and she also edits the crap out of me," Sabrina began the now-viral clip.

"I found a couple more pictures that have fallen victim to Facetune mum, and I thought I would show you them."

She then shared screenshots of a photo from Mother's Day last year, both the original and also the edited version.

"My weight has fluctuated a lot over the past few years, and I think this was close to my heaviest," she said.

She then tries to understand her mum's behaviour, saying it's probably because "she'd never seen me at that size."

"But yeah, she slimmed me down a lot."

She then flicks between the two snaps so you can see how much her mum cinched in her waist, making her look about 30 kg skinnier.

"She made me skinny. It's a close-up comparison of how she edited me," she narrates.

"My arm has never been that skinny!"

"You deserve better"

Thankfully, Sabrina says she doesn't take it personally or get offended.

"But I just think it's crazy to edit other people like that. You wanna Facetune yourself? By all means, go ahead," she claims.

"You do you. But to edit someone else...."

In the comments, people felt nothing but sympathy for Sabrina.

"This breaks my heart. I’m so sorry," one person commented.

"The way I gasped and got chills," a second replied.

"I’m sorry, you deserve better," another viewer responded.
