Kmart shoppers keen to get their hands on the new $15 ‘Crocs bag’

It’s been making waves as the ultimate mum bag. But everyone has the same burning question - can we stick Jibbutz in it?

The 'ugly' shoes shoppers are taking to Europe

Mums are losing their minds over a ‘game-changing’ bag, which is only $15 and is a dupe of a popular $99 Crocs bag.

The Kmart EVA Beach Tote is crafted from durable, easy-to-clean material, with a capacity of up to 10kg and is designed with holes to effortlessly get rid of sand and dirt.

It comes in three colours, white, navy and pink and is a near replica of the Crocs Classic Tote, which also comes in the same three colours.

The viral 'Crocs' bag

A post on the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page first alerted shoppers to the budget buy, sparking a frenzy of people trying to get their hands on it.

“Looking forward to trying this out on beach/pool/picnic days,” Kmart fan Amber Hope wrote.

“It’s in the beach/pool section.”

She also added that she wanted it in pink, but her store had already sold it out in that colour, so she bought it in white.

“I’ve seen the Crocs one trending,” someone wrote. “Can’t wait to get this one, though.”

“Great for the kid's sandy and wet things!” another commenter said.

Other comments included, “Perfect for the park,” “Running to Kmart” and “I want one NOW!”

“I got one for the kid's swimming lessons,” one mum shared.

Then came the burning question on everyone’s lips...

“Can we stick Jibbitz in there?!” someone asked.

Someone else replied, “They’ll probably bring out their own accessories.”

"Easy to wash after a day out"

Kidspot spoke to the original poster, Amber, who told us she stumbled across the bags when she was looking for a beach trolley.

“They popped up on the site so I went and looked and thought it would be great to use this summer for picnics, beaches, pools etc. for towels and drink bottles as I have a few kids I care for,” she said.

“I think it will be easy to wash and wipe over after a day out.”
