A bikini-clad woman has been shamed after going to great lengths to get the “perfect” shot at Sydney’s Bondi Icebergs.

A woman has been criticised for her “entitled” behaviour at a famous Instagrammable location in Sydney, sparking a discussion about photo etiquette at iconic hotspots.

A clip shared on @influencersinthewild’s account shows footage taken by someone on the balcony of the Bondi Icebergs bar, who were amused by the scene unfolding below at the world-renowned pool.

A bikini-clad woman, who appears to be either an influencer or someone very eager to capture the perfect shot, walks along the edge of the pool.

She heads straight for the coveted corner position but notices another person standing there, admiring the view of Bondi Beach.

She taps him on the shoulder and points to her partner on the other side of the pool, indicating that he is trying to take a photo of her.

The man obliges and steps aside, and the woman begins posing and trying out various angles for what seems to be an impromptu photoshoot.

Meanwhile, the man who moved out of the way stands just a few metres away, waiting for her to finish.

The filmer narrates mockingly, “Get out of my way, you f**king infantile. I’m trying to take a selfie.”

“I will literally hop on Airtasker right now and pay five people to do bombs into the pool,” he adds jokingly.

“Tell me you’re in Bondi without telling me you’re in Bondi,” the clip was captioned.

Immediately, commenters got in on the joke, with one writing, “This is the most Bondi thing ever.”

“I would’ve casually strolled by and pushed her into the water — I do not care about ruined influencer shots,” someone else claimed.

“I would’ve charged her $50 to move,” another chuckled.

However, most commenters were “disgusted” by her behaviour.

“The audacity!” wrote another user. “You can’t just expect people to move for you.”

“Asking a young boy who was quietly looking at the ocean to move is abhorrent. Shame them, so gross,” said someone else.

Another person called it “insane”.

Yet, there were a few who defended the woman.

“He didn’t have to move, and by the looks of it, she asked nicely,” one argued.

“Honestly, what’s the issue? We have no idea how long that person was standing in that spot before she approached. He doesn’t own the spot either. It’s absolutely fine to ask someone to grab a photo and then they can go back to what they were doing before,” another agreed.

“I don’t see it as entitled if someone else is hogging the view for themselves. It’s not a big deal,” a third expressed.

Yet a fourth wrote, “There are plenty of other places to stand. He can look at the view from anywhere near the pool while she gets the aesthetic shot. I’m not sure why people are so mad about it, to be honest.”

“He still got the view, she got the photo, everyone’s happy. It’s not that deep,” quipped someone else.

It comes after an Aussie influencer was roasted last year after she called out a stranger online for watching her film a video – on their front porch.

Brooke McAuley was holidaying in London last year when she decided to film a “fit check” video out the front of an expensive house in the famous West End.

But she later told her TikTok followers that she was shocked to see the homeowner “watching” her while she was filming and only clocked it when she watched the video back.

The former 2020 Miss Universe Australia didn’t get the sympathetic response she was hoping for, with many commenters telling her she was “rude” and “entitled” for expecting privacy while filming on someone else’s property.
