'In their dupe era': Aussie shares the Kmart dupes teens are obsessed with

From White Fox jumper dupes to Sol De Janeiro and Stanley water bottle knock-offs.

Kmart is in their dupe era

As parents, we're all too familiar with the whirlwind that is teenage trends.

Just when you've wrapped your head around the latest must-have, your teen is already onto the next big thing.

But fear not, because there’s a way around this ever-changing cycle and it’s… Kmart!

“Kmart is so deep in their dupe era,” begins TikToker @emilywardyo in a clip all about Kmart's budget alternatives to the high-end brands teens are obsessed with.

From fashion and gadgets to beauty and skincare… let’s find out what they are.

Home must-haves without the price tag

Wandering around Kmart, Emily takes her followers on a ‘dupe tour’ of all the different departments.

First on the list, the home and kitchen must-haves.

If your teen can’t stop scrolling for recipe videos on TikTok, they might like the Kmart Nutribullet dupe which costs just $69 as opposed to $100.

Introducing our new podcast: Mum Club! Listen and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode.

Or maybe they’d prefer the $119 Twin Air Fryer, a dupe of the much more expensive, $350 Ninja Air Foodi Max.

And of course, there’s Stanley dupes. Because why pay $80 for a drink bottle they’re just going to lose when you can pay $15?

Beauty on a budget

The beauty aisles are also packed with dupes, according to Emily.

“There are Laneige lip masks,” she says, showing the $3 versions of the popular $33 Mecca buy, as well as high-end perfume dupes, starting from just $12.

Emily also points out the Sol De Janeiro body cream dupe, which will let teens have that iconic tropical scent for a fraction of the price ($8 instead of $77.)

For those looking to replicate the bouncy hair looks of their favourite celebs or influencers, Kmart's blow dry brushes mimicking brands like Mermade Hair and Bondi Boost are a total game-changer.

We’re talking $35 rather than $150+.

Fashion haul time

Emily then heads over to the fashion department, where she makes a beeline for the White Fox Boutique-like jumpers. They are the $29 Everlast jumpers and they look near-identical to the $80 you’d find on the fast-fashion retailer’s website.

Skims dupes are aplenty too, with the budget store knocking off the Kardashian brand with their affordable range of silky dresses and t-shirts, as well as shapewear and underwear.

And when it comes to footwear, the Birkenstock and Crocs look-alikes have been a hit.

"Love this"

Commenters were here for Kmart’s dupe era, with one saying, “Why pay triple the price when Kmart will bring out the same and mostly just as good within a couple of weeks?”

Another shared, “Love this, thanks for posting these!”

And another joked, “Can they do groceries next?!”

We can only dream!
