Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in the state’s Central West earlier today.Mahmudul Bobbe, aged 33, was last seen running into bushland surrounding a complex at Kirkconnell, 30km east of Bathurst, about 2pm today (Friday 4 December 2020),Officers from Chifley Police District attended the scene and are currently making inquiries. Bobbe is described as being of Indian/Sub Continental appearance with a dark brown complexion, thin build, 170cm and 60kg, with a shaved head, brown beard. At the time he was wearing a prison-issued green clothing.
