Sydney Summer: Temperatures ease but clear, sunny skies ahead

There’s a brief reprieve from the recent spate of summer scorchers but there’ll still be no shortage of sun with clear skies forecast all this week.

The unwritten rules you need to know before camping

It has been perfect weather to hit the beach or pool so far this month and there is no rain in sight, even though this week will be cooler than average.

While there’ll be no need for umbrellas until at least Friday, the week will feature cooler temperatures but clear and sunny days.

The Bureau of Meteorology’s Shuang Wang said a “strong cold front” would bring below-average December temperatures for most of the week before the warmer conditions returned.

She said there was “little chance” of any rain until Friday, with Sydney temperatures expected to be in the mid to high 20s for most of the week.

“Generally speaking we’re expecting below-average temperatures, brought on by a strong cold front across the state,” Ms Wang said.

“There’s not a significant chance of rainfall this week, apart from Friday.

“We’ll continue to see cool and sunny conditions for the next few days.”
