Darling Harbour Multiple Assaults: EXCLUSIVE: At around 1:40am this morning emergency services responded to reports that five men had assaulted a Security Guard in Pyrmont near the Watershed Hotel. Not long after reports came through of an unprovoked assault of five men against three men in Darling Harbour. One of the victims is believed to have sustained a broken nose. The Offenders ran from the scene with two entering a Taxi on Sussex Street near Druitt, but Police were already onto them stopping them on the Western Distributor on-ramp Police released these two men pending further enquiries. At the same time Police were tracking the other three men as they walked along Kent Street pouncing on them near the corner of Bathurst Street. Police detained and searched the men as they reviewed CCTV of the incident. After a lengthy period one man was arrested and two released. Police are expecting to make more arrests after further investigations. The group of five are believed to be responsible for both assaults in Pyrmont and Darling Harbour. Its not clear at this stage what injuries the Security Officer sustained during this incident. Three men are detained on Kent Street as Police determine their involvement in the assaults. ‘Dumb mistake’: Accused brawler gets bail

A 22-year-old allegedly involved in an overnight brawl in Darling Harbour which a police prosecutor described as “alcohol-fuelled violence” has been granted bail.
