In NSW police visited homes in Kellyville Ridge and Dee Why on Thursday morning searching for prohibited guns.

Strike Force Raptor also raided a home in Rhodes, where they arrested a member of the Mongols gang.

Police said a man was hiding inside and refused to answer, forcing officers to beat the door down.

Police say the 26-year-old was involved in a brawl at a Rydalmere venue in October.

Police said they also found more than $57,500 in cash, cannabis, steroids and mobile phones at his Rhodes unit, as well as a Mongols vest and a Mongols-branded motorcycle.

The man, who has a large tattoo of the bikie calling card “1 per cent”, has been charged with affray and possessing prohibited prescribed substances, and he will face Burwood Court in January.

In the Dee Why home police allegedly found $9000 in cash, a bulletproof vest, prescription medication and Mongols paraphernalia.
