Man, 26, charged for aggravated break and enter offences

A second man has been charged on Friday in relation to an aggravated break and enter at a property west of Kempsey in 2019. Police allege he was one of four men who forced entry to the Wittitrin property before stealing several rifles, ammunition, and power tools. No one was home at the time.

In 2012 Charles Sturt University’s Port Macquarie Campus was operating out of a Rydges Hotel room. Today, it unveiled its newest addition – the $66 million stage 2a building. It will triple the student intake, making it the largest international student campus in regional Australia.

Police nearing ‘tail end’ of bushfire investigations

Police are appealing to the community to come forward with further information regarding damage to their property and land in the wake of the 2019 Mid-North-Coast bushfires. It comes as their investigations into more than eight fires across the Manning-Great Lakes reach their conclusion.
