NSW Police have seized more than $1.5 million worth of prohibited drugs and made a number of arrests after a string of search warrants across the state’s Central Coast and Sydney, yesterday afternoon. Strike Force Bamberry, comprising officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command, was established in December 2015 to investigate the manufacture and distribution of prohibited drugs across the Central Coast. After ongoing investigations Strike Force Detectives yesterday (Wednesday 25 May 2016), executed a number of search warrants on the Central Coast as well as properties in western Sydney and the North Shore, where they seized a large quantity of prohibited drugs with an estimated potential street value of more than $1.5 million.

POLICE are searching land near Texas for a missing Gold Coast man after his car was found damaged and abandoned almost 300km west from where he last contacted family. Jamie Hardgraves, 43, of Coomera was reported missing from Beaudesert last Tuesday, indicating to family over the phone that he was in Coolangatta.
